I can't believe it Northern Cutie is my Chances mom!!! He was born in October 2000 his name was Northern Bus he has 2 brothers Northern Auto and Northern Car . He was never registered and has never raced as he had an injury . I adopted him when he was 11 months old . Are you in Winnipeg ??

Thanks everyone for your kind words , I'm just beside myself and can't stop crying , I have a headache from crying so much . Jeanie is the first grey I adopted and my heart dog she's the one that made me fall in love with the breed , it's just so hard

This is so painful to be writing this but Jeanie was diagnosed with osteo today it's in her front shoulder . I just can't believe it I'm in shock I just sat there in stunned as the vet told me we were both crying . Jeanie turned 11 this August , she started limping over a week ago . Deep down I knew what it was since she hadn't hurt herself . She's on meds for pain meds whatever time she has will be cherished I'm just numb ....

Jeanie does the same thing licking and panting heavily and drooling for her that means that she wants out to eat grass for her upset tummy . It usually solves her upset stomach .Except in the winter when she ate the comforter no grass available . i will be planting grass seed this winter in the house for her . Hope all is well for him when you see the vet .

Hi Amanda I have insurance on all three of my hounds . Jeanie and Chance have had insurance for 7 years and Elly this year . I used it this winter when Jeanie had emergency surgery after her comforter eating incident that bill came close to $2500.00 they sent me a cheque back for $1600.00 .PetCare has different policy's you can check out on line on the Canadian site .I think after 6 they consider them seniors also greyhounds are a select breed so the premium is a little higher . Right now I am paying just over $100.00 a month for all three .They cover up to so much depending on the illness category
