  1. My DD's first grey was a dedicated crotch sniffer. Whenever I went to the house I had stand against the wall while greeting all the dogs or his nose was shoved up my butt! When I went the farm to pick up my first puppy the breeder asked me if I knew how greys like to greet & when I told him about Whimpee he laughed & said that's what he was talking about. I wanted to name my pup Dr. P but DD said that wouldn't be good. Now DD has a small girl that loves to greet that way & then push her head between your legs. It is a dog thing & I guess they just take the way they greet each other over to greeting people.

  2. My DD had a boy that died the same way. Hombre greeted her when she got home from work, went outside to do his evening laps around the yard & just colasped. It was very hard on all of us but he'd had a good life & died doing what he loved doing. I'm sorry for your loss.

  3. I'll be interested in peoples results as one of my DDs girls has a terrible time with itches on one side. The vet has sold some expensive powders that are suppose to help & they do some what. He also had had the dogs switched to grain free kibble which has helped.

  4. My bridge girl Lucky loved june bugs. When we'd walk she spent the time jumping up & catching the bugs on the fly. The vet said it wouldn't hurt but he wouldn't try one. Then Lucky my first greys to eat them too. These bugs crunch where at least worms don't!

  5. After using a cattle prod Sunday while help my SIL work his cattle I'm not sure I'd use one on a dog. When I had to prod a 1100 Lbs cow to move her into the squeeze shoot, & she was NOT pleased but moved when I just poked her with a plastic paddle. A cow's hide is much thicker than a dog's skin so I think it might be too much of a shock. Sending many get wet wishes to you & Betty. I'm with Jennifer that maybe the other dog has a medical problem.
