  6. I saw your little body on the side of the road this morning. The person who hit you was very kind and laid you carefully on a snow mound where hopefully, your owners will find you and put you to rest. I don't know if you slipped out or you were a feral kitty or you were let to roam, you had to die alone. You will not be alone at the Bridge. There are many who will welcome you.

  19. Joe Peterson, who is an integral part of GRR in Westchester NY and southern Ct., and responsible for the homing and fostering of uncountable greyhounds, lost his beloved Glenda to a brain tumor. She was his first and the one who showed so many other greys the right ways of doing things. This happy go lucky, whacky little girl will be missed by all wo knew her. Hugs to Joe and his family at this sad time and gentle journey to the Bridge for little Glenda.
  20. I understand how you feel. I have six of my babies home with me, but as soon as I got the call from the vet, I was in the car and off to bring them 'home'. Today I can laugh about my Little Ray of Sunshine, our Siberian Husky who always travelled with us in our motorhome. We towed the Harley and whenever she saw us getting it ready for a ride, she would jump all around it trying to get on. DH told her she couldn't reach the pedals so she couldn't ride it!! When we had her put to rest and got the call that her ashes were back, DH took the bike to bring her home. Said she always wanted to ride it and this was her chance. Take someone with you, you will probably be crying all the way home.
