Of course, there are bears even at the hotel in downtown Gatlinburg so Nate heard the words, "NO! Go lie down! I'm NOT taking you out in the middle of the night!" each night of our stay.
That would be a totally different type of pooping experience!

Hi Kate and Kayra! What an exciting new chapter in your life! None of our greys were adopted as puppies, but Ivy had just turned 2 when we adopted her and acted like a puppy too. The level of energy is amazing! Enjoy your beautiful girl and come back to Greytalk often. We have a lot of great information on this site and lots of fun too!

I accused her of paying Snickers to whine from the bedroom...
I would hope Snickers got something out of the deal!

LongDog Leather makes breakaway collars. I'm not sure if they are deerskin but they are braided leather.

They look gorgeous!

Our first grey, the beautiful Breeze, chattered too. You could hear her from feet away! Ivy sometimes chatters very quietly. So sweet!

I love the helicopter tail!

I read it! It was fun to read and basically similar to the original.

Just checked. Yes, what we call cornflour in the UK is what you call cornstarch in the US. Informative Link I suspect the starch is the styptic bit!
Thank you!

I'm so sorry it was time for Hazer to leave you, but you gave him the best gift possible. Run free Hazer!

Here I use culinary grade cornflour as a styptic (and also occasionally for cooking!). I find it pretty effective for things like quicked nails. The challenge as you say is keeping the dog still enough for long enough for it to work!
By cornflour, do you mean cornstarch or is there something else I'm missing?
