  1. I don't know where you live, but you might want to check out I-therm; kldmedical.net/i-therm. There's a video on youtube showing a treatment, too. I have experience with acupuncture, chiro and I-therm and would highly recommend I-therm for the issue that your sweet boy is having. It's an amazing piece of equipment that is used for people and animals - OSU Vet School has one. To save time, I would call the manufacturer and see if they can point you toward the closest Vet to you that has one.

Sending prayers of comfort and healing white light to Clever.

  2. Elizabeth, you are absolutely correct in your description of GTers! They are absolutely the most generous of people anywhere! Thank you for sharing your story and we certainly hope you decide to stick around a while. Congratulations on opening your home and heart to Tate, Etta and Maddie who need you as much as you need them!

This topic is not to be explored lightly nor does anyone want to create a thread, but there is no safer place to bare one's heart and soul.

  3. Echo and Misty were my first two favorites here on GT. I can just imagine the havoc being wreaked at The Bridge - nothing is safe and yet everything is just where it should be for her to snatch. We will miss you Ekko, but will smile at all the mischief makers who can only hope to rival your imaginative antics. Gentle hugs to you, Claudia. Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion - and remembering Ekko will always make me laugh.

  4. There are no suitable words to describe Jack's loss. It's just not fair. It hurt like he11. It has to stop.

There are a few meaningful words. I am unable to imagine the depth of your losses this year. Charlie and Jack knew you loved them best. Charlie and Jack loved you more than they could ever express. Charlie and Jack had the best possible life with you and Lynn. Jack was a loving and sensitive soul who made that warm spot in your heart. He exuded love for your and his housemates. Ever steady, ever loving, forever Jack.

If it was possible, there are so many here on GT who would gladly help carry the burden of your grief. Please know you are both in my prayers.

  5. "Hmmm....Wonder if I could rubberize the bottoms of those and add a velcro strap to help them stay on better outside? Might be easier than creating from scratch. Or I could sew the Vibram to the sock by hand (ouch), then reinforce the edges with rubber glue and insert sheepskin padding."

TheraPaws sells a couple of products to rubberize the bottoms.
