krissn333
I was looking at some medical information online and came across and advertisement for Promeris, apparently it's a new flea and tick preventative made by Fort Dodge...looks like it's applied like you apply Frontline... Anybody tried this? Is it new this year or am I just now hearing about it? Guest VanillaBean
Not personally, but have heard some bad things about it. In particular, one grey had a reaction and lost all her hair at that site. The vet pulled the product and won't use it.
Neighsayer
I think there was a thread on here recently that gave the link to the article. I know several vets who won't use it. My friend was going to use it this year but changed her mind after seeing the bad publicity.
krissn333
Yikes! Well, that settles it, we'll stick with our Frontline Plus this year, as in past years. Thanks! Guest Ola
I've heard about some bad reactions - I'd stay away: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bullet...ead/172012.html
Wendie
One of my vets was using it exclusively over the last few months and was recommending it to all of his clients. He recently sent out an e-mail asking his clients to stop using it and telling them they could bring what was left back to the clinic to exchange it for frontline. Glad I didn't jump on that bandwagon when I was thinking about it!! (What scared me away originally was that none of the online retailers seemed to be carrying it at all) Quote Forever in my Heart Joe T Greyhound, Charly Bear, Angel Daisy, and Katze & Buzz Kitty.
