Guest Gale Posted July 30, 2004 Share Posted July 30, 2004 The other night, I couldn't sleep and when I finally dozed off, Griffy came to me in my dreams for the first time since he went to the bridge. It was so wonderful to see his handsome gray face and feel his soft silky black fur when I hugged him. He was only there for a short time and when I awoke, I felt hollow inside as I realized it was only a dream. I'd like to think that he was letting me know he was ok. Saturday, July 31, marks his first year at the bridge. Happy first anniversary in heaven sweet Griffin. I know that someday we'll be together again and until that day comes, you will always live in a special place in my heart. I love you and miss you every day. The Most Divine Ms. SugarBear has come to me many times in dreams, she even "approved" the arrival of Barbie Jade, my retired brood. It is awesome that they are with us forever. When I think of my Runner and The Divine Ms. SugarBear, I think of the song The Dance, with all the pain of their leaving me, I would not have missed ONE BEAT of the Dance!!
