He fell (splayed) yesterday and I've had to give him Rimadyl that past 2 days along with Tramadol and his daily Gabapentin. He seems much better today so I may not give him any more Rimadyl. How long should we wait for the 2 days of Rimadyl dosing before the DM injection? His vet is in sunny Jamaica right now...lucky her!! JJNg Posted February 5, 2014 Share Posted February 5, 2014 I'd probably give it 5-7 days to be safe, so you're probably fine if the injection is scheduled for next week. But make sure you let your vet know about the Rimadyl too, as she may feel differently. Sometimes the decision on how long to wait depends on how badly the dog needs the medication.
