AEB
I noticed a spot in Gamo's eye yesterday. It looks like a little dot of opaqueness. I hoped it was a film that would blink away. But it didn't move. Today it is still present. His eyes are super clear (though the pic doesn't reflect that) and it doesn't appear to go deeper than then surface. Still, it is not normal. Has anyone experienced this? Any idea what it might be? The spot is the dull round/oval dot about 1/3 down from the top of his eye. It is not the round and bright reflection at the very top or the rectangular reflection at the middle/bottom. This is best pic I have been able to get. Guest Marsroving
Looks to be a corneal abrasion, they usually heal on their own pretty quick. If not go to vet and get some eye drops or ointment. (I'm an optician and just asked the Dr. I'm working with to take a look at the picture). As it heals it may become itchy, so make sure if Gamo starts to claw at it you take appropriate measures! tbhounds
Could also be a cholesterol deposit. I would have it checked next week.

Thank you for asking! I will watch it and if it doesn't improve by Tuesday I will make an appointment. I assumed it was some kind of scratch.
