Walliered Posted June 14, 2013 Share Posted June 14, 2013 Started DaVid on Doxycycline 100mg 4 x day. This is per Charleston Vet Referral. He is to stay on all the rest of the meds and add Doxy. They really don't know what is wrong with him, but they are trying to figure it out. He is in good shape in the morning, playing with his stuffed junk and walking about 30 minutes. No limping. But, by the middles of the afternoon he is really favoring his rear legs. But, he only limps on one leg or the other and switches it every day or two. They have done every test their is known to man. There have been several Doctors involved with him. He still loves food and I don't think he is ready to call it a day. It is just that we have not hit on the right solution yet. Tick Born? OA? The first pharmacy I went to said it would be $1800.00 for 120 pills. Hurricane Sandy destroyed the company that was making one of the ingredients.
