Guest LauraB Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Just as I scored chicken backs and chicken quarters, and bought about 15 pounds, Dillard walks away. He won't eat duck either. (.49 lb for duck soup pieces) He is eating chicken hearts and gizzards. Does he know something I don't know? I tried sprinkling with Parmesan and garlic. He licked off the cheese and walked away. Guest FinnsMom Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 If you have a crockpot you can cook them in there for about 24 hours, which will turn it into a nice mush, cook up some rice and mix it in and see if he will eat it that way. I gave him pork or beef for a few days and then he went right back to eating chicken. GO figure I guess he was tired of it? I let it drain and cool for a minute over their kibble. Suddenly they love it. Put the chicken in for 2 minutes on each side and he grabbed it, ran to a big pillow and started gnawing. I came in the room and he growled so I know he is back on chicken.
