Meningiomas And Greyhounds

Hey everyone,

I was hoping someone would have some advice for me and my dog (10 yo greyhound). The specialist who diagnosed my dog with two meningiomas (using an MRI) doesn't inspire a lot of confidence on my part. He said that usually they just see one and he is asking some other specialists their opinions. Although I am thankful he is taking the time to research this, I need to make sure that I have the best medical advice before making any decisions for my dog! Does anyone (in the US, preferrably east coast) know a neurologist they would recommend with experience with meningomas (and hopefully greyhounds)?

The whole MRI expereince was very difficult for my dog so I'm highly interested in reputable, alternative treatments as well. Its very difficult to seperate the good vs. crazy stuff on the internet when researching alternative treatments so if you know of anything good to look into I'd appreciate it.

Thankfully, my dog is doing completely fine right now other than just limited vision in one eye. She is still a happy and playful little girl!

Thanks!
