Guest Greytluv
Can Greys get pink eye? Piglet's eye looks like she has pink eye. It's all red around the outside and red inside. It has a pus-y junk coming out of it.
Sambuca
Yes. It can be just as contagious as pink eye is in humans and depends on the virus, may be passed to people.

JJNg
While I won't say it's impossible, it would be very unusual for a dog with 'pink eye' to be contagious to other dogs or to people. Conjunctivitis in dogs is much more likely to be caused by allergies. However, I would recommend a vet visit as there are other potential causes of a red, irritated eye with discharge that may be more serious. Such as glaucoma, corneal ulcer, uveitis, etc. Quote Jennifer & Willow (Wilma Waggle), Wiki (Wiki Hard Ten), Carter (Let's Get It On), Ollie (whippet), Gracie (whippet x), & Terra (whippet) + Just Saying + Just Alice
Guest GreyMom1998
Terry - With Piggie's immune system issues I'd take her to the vet definately. Pannus also makes the eye pink. I don't know if the crusties are part of Pannus. Laura
