Guest DiforDan Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Took Slinky back to the vet this week and she refused to try any more medications for Slinky's anxiety. The vets in the UK, as I have said, do not seem so versed in anxiety meds as yours in the US. I am a bit frustrated and cross about this, but I think she was saying that Slinky really should be left in the house in his comfort zone where he is relaxed and fine, and that is the best solution, rather than trying to make him into the dog he is not. So Slinky is now going to be a house dog only and we are looking into adopting another dog (a nice confident, sweet, outgoing one) who can do on walks with our other dog.
