Guest verthib
Would giving 3 days of Panacur, then waiting two weeks and giving 3 more days of Panacur sound appropriate for a 'just in case the dog has worms' treatment/dosage? Or should it be 3 weeks between doses? Thanks
Guest KennelMom
the amount of time between doses depends on the life-cycle of the worm(s)...I always forget the interval for panacur. I'd give the vet a call and ask them what they recommend. I think three weeks sounds right...but, again, that may vary based on the parasite you are targeting. We usually use drontal plus. More expensive, but it works like a dream and is easier to dose. As long as our vet has seen the dog, they'll mail us drontal plus. tbhounds
3 days, 3 weeks and again in 3 months is a common protocol.
