Our female Lola will chew on baby socks like toys if she finds them on the floor (which happens sometimes when a sock falls off the baby's foot). Lola does adore our 4-month old though. She loves to give our daughter kisses, but we have to break it off before the baby gets a little freaked out. Our boy Zeke is not as impressed by the baby, but I think it is because the baby has refused to acknowledge him. Our daughter Violet has only recently even started to look at the dogs. If she is sitting in my lap and one of the dogs is next to us she might even reach out with her hand to feel their fur, but that's about it. Lola's excitement is unconditional, but I guess Zeke needs to be acknowledged before he really cares that much about the baby.
