Guest greytloves
Bought some freeze-dried duck hearts (EWWWW) as a treat for my gang and tonight opened them up. Good golly, you would think I had struck gold. Even my old gal who takes her treats on her bed, thank you very much, was following me around the room as I handed them out with her ears twitching and doing her little "oooooo" happy dance. Puppy Gracie has been learning "Get on your bed", "Sit", "Down" and lately "Shake". Well she ran to her bed, sat, and handed me her paw for one! First time she handed me her paw! I think I may have found the high value treat for awhile!
Guest Vers
Those sounds positively delicious May I ask where you found them? It sounds like something my two would love -- if I can stand feeding them!

silverfish
Wonderful how a really desirable treat can advance the training, isn't it? I've never seen freeze dried duck hearts, but we get freeze dried slices of venison heart - they go down pretty well too! Guest greytloves
It was a brand called Companion and the site was "Fresh is Best". Gotta find a place where I can get them in a bigger bag!
