Guest jfroggirl76 Posted July 25, 2010 Share Posted July 25, 2010 Ok, So we got the email just short of 4 wks ago, a runt puppy has survived and would need placed. Our group emailed me to see if we would be up for the challenge. She was only 5 wks old, so my dh & I discussed it and agreed that we would "foster" her until she is big enough to be spayed and go to a home of her own. Now keep in mind that both Piper & Beau were fosters and you see just how far they made it out of our house. We have plenty of puppy experience esp since we had my parents puppy for 6 mos when my step-father went through surgery & chemo a year and a half ago and we adopted Sasha at 6wks old. So how long will it take for the dh to cave & realize that the foster probably isn't going anywhere?
