Cutaneous Lymphoma

I have an 8 year old brood who came off a farm covered with at least 20 "growths" of various sizes and development. We removed 4 during her spay and the initial results have come back as cutaneous lymphoma. Right now we are waiting for results of stains and further testing.

I am hoping someone out there has some experience with this and can give me information that will help me make an intelligent choice of treatment decision for this lovely girl. This is the medical stuff that makes me crazy......finally a chance for an older dog to have a life as a member of a family in a home and something like this arises.

We will certainly do all we can for this girl.....just hoping for a bit of information from some of you who have dealt with this condition before.

Thanks!

We have no further information at this point. Cutaneous lymphoma only affects the skin (sometimes the lips and mucous membranes)....there is no lymph node involvement. I don't like what I have read as far as prognosis goes.

Nothing I've experienced, sorry. I'm sure you've contacted the man so all I can offer is hugs and some prayers.

Of course! Seems this type is treated with chemo also. I know there will be more information available once we determine for sure that this is what we are dealing with and what type it actually is.
