Guest UESBrindle
Just a quick question. William has been off yesterday and today. I just went to get his collar and harness for a walk, and he usually gets up right away, but he just got up and flopped back down. Is there a way I can check his temp at home, and see if it's high? I am already worried about his diarehea, and if he has a fever too, I want to bring him in. If it's just an upset stomach that can work itself out, I am happy to wait and see if there is improvement with what I can do at home. We have a regular digital thermometer with the plastic covers. Can we just put a cover on and "lube" it up and take it that way? Thank you in advance!
CaliforniaGreys
I'm not sure what you mean by cover, but yes, you can use what you have with no problem Quote Missing my little Misty who took a huge piece of my heart with her on 5/2/09, and Ekko, on 6/28/12 For the sick, the lost, and the homeless
Burpdog
You can and you do not have to put it in that far Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
Guest Dillymom
You only need to put it in about an inch I have 1 that I wrote in permanent marker DOGS on so that nobody accidentally uses it for a person
Guest greyvettech
A normal temp should be between 100.5 to 102.5 .... 103 is a slight fever.... just in case.... Hope he is OK!
