lflaherty45
Follow your heart and your inner voice. You are NOT giving Timber a death sentence. You are keeping her comfortable and that is our job. To love them and keep them the best we can and do what is right for them.. Your love comes thru in your posts and you will do what is best. Having lost greys to "C" I know how back and forth your are going, but in the end our hearts always lead us down the right path. Love her and cuddle her and enjoy your time. Sending prayers. Guest houndhome
You are absolutely doing the right thing for Timber. She is lucky to have such a thoughtful and loving time. Don't feel guilty, it is not your fault she has cancer, and when it is our time, it is out time. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. Guest lynne893
Thank you, friends. I feel a little better about it today. Probably because we've now taken an action step to help her feel more comfortable-- we got the Prednisone and started her on it. She's resting quietly this evening. DH took her to the park today to lay in the sun for a while. She got some love from friends earlier. I'm a little worried about the side effects of the Prednisone. Both DH and I work away from home tomorrow, so she'll hopefully be okay by herself. Thank you for affirming that we're doing what's right for her. We'll give her as much love as we can, always. Love, Lynne

Guest Lovey_Hounds
The way i see it is you should do what you feel is best for her and not what others tell you to do/try. We are sending good thoughts your way for you and your houndie.
