dmswartzfager
I have an 18 pound bag of z/d ultra hypoallergenic that I keep trying to give away and no one takes it. I bought it for Blitz to have on hand in case his IBD flared up and (knock on wood) it hasn't. In the interest of full disclosure, the expiration date was March 2009 (I finally checked it five minutes ago), but the bag is unopened and has been sitting in a dry closet. But it's free - I'll even pay to ship it, just to get it off my hands. Guest Energy11
Maybe you can donate it to a local GH group up your way? It is a very good food for allergies. Good Luck!
Guest koolaidnconner
Yes donating it. That is what we use for Conner and I think RobinW does use the same for Beau. I think donating it maybe. Although if it is expried they may not take it.
Guest mandm
My vet's office refunds all Hills prescription diets in full, whether opened or sealed, expired or not, for any reason. Kind of like LL Bean. I brought some in a while back, actually 2 or 3 yrs ago, so Hills policy may have changed since then. I didn't want to because I felt it was "nickel & diming" them. My vet's office has always been very good to me and I try to be good to them. But they assured me that Hill's reimbursed them for all returns. dmswartzfager
I refuse to return to the vet's office I got it from, unless an absolute emergency. As soon as my one year previous employee discount expires, I'm going to tell them to archive my records. If no one here wants it, I'll list it on freecycle. Hey Deanna - shoot an email over to Jenny G. and see if she can get it from you.
