Bleeding Mole

Friday I noticed Lucy had some dried blood on her leg I hadn't seen before, so I cleaned it up and saw what looks like a large bumpy mole that I had also never seen before. I thought maybe she had scratched it on something causing it to bleed, and it didn't bleed after that for saturday and sunday. However today (monday) there is once again more blood around it, although not nearly as much as the first time, and I'm getting concerned it might be cancerous. I know the pictures aren't that great but my camera has a hard time focusing up close. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!

I would just have the vet take a look at it the next time you have to go in for shots or any other routine visit unless is starts to grow larger or change shape in any way.

I would take her in to have it looked at. Dogs get melanoma just like people. If it's bumpy and bleeding--absolutely have it checked out. It's not an EMERGENCY, but I'd get her in.

Another vote for getting it looked at.
