It seems to give them a lot of support which is greyt for steps ( we have a lot) and Polli is scared to do it. Once i am able to slip my hand in the opening on the back with the harness on, I am hoping she will gain confidence to to up and down. It has been a godsend for getting Bell up and down the stairs on the days when her rear end just won't cooperate.
