Guest ss556
Alan's gait is off, his back legs have weakness at times and lately he's been walking slowly with his head downward. What are some of your experiences with treatment? (He is 10.5 yrs old and has high blood pressure and kidney disease and lately has very soft poop, is not liking his chicken that much and is being difficult with eating). Guest greyladydown
I used acupuncture and chiopractic together when my Cinny had an FCE and it worked wonders. She had 4 treatments and was back to her old self in a month.
RobinM
As we have discussed, you will need a full set of x-rays first for the area you need worked on before a holistic vet will work with Alan. CaliforniaGreys
The vet that did acupuncture on one of my boys wouldn't do it without an xray first. And he actually showed me how to do acupressure so I could keep it up at home. Guest lotsagreys4me
I would agree that x-rays would be the proper way to start.
VinnieAndRexsMom
After xrays Vinnie had accupressure as this was closest to home. I saw some relief. Quote Tonya, mom to May, and my angels Vinnie, Rex, Red, Chase, and Jake.
Guest LolasMom
I've done acupuncture with an occasional chiropractic adjustment (my vet does both) with my two seniors and had great results. They also took supplements.
