Guest Comete Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 Hello, I recently adopted a greyhound and was wondering if anyone has any info about Everett VCA Animal Hospital in Everett, Ma. I called and they said they had experience working with Greyhounds but I do not know. Anyone who has any info would be greatly appreciated. Trudy Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 I don't, but there is a great vet in Salem at Harthowrn Animal Hospital. He owned greys himself, one had died before I started going there and the other may well have died as well. If KJH sees this, she will know better as she still goes there (I've moved to NY since). Salem isn't too far away, but I can see wanting a closer vet. Give them a try and if you don't like them, there are lots of good options around the area. I think it's their office manager there who owns several, and they even have one of their examination rooms that is dedicated for greyhounds. Guest houndlover Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 I'm not sure about the one in Everett but I know that VCA Northboro does a lot of the greys that come off the track with broken legs. The women at Beverly Animal Natural Health are greyhound savvy, and go above and beyond in checking up on our hounds.
