greytluck Posted December 21, 2007 Share Posted December 21, 2007 Hobbes cut is foot today requiring 5 stitches. The vet gave him a local anesthetic to stitch it up, but I'm not sure what it was. Anyways He has developed a bad rash all over his belly and genital area. He won't leave it alone. What can I give him to stop the itching and rash. Burpdog Posted December 21, 2007 Share Posted December 21, 2007 Sounds like a bad reaction to something. Benedryl, 1mg per # of body weight twice a day. If it gets worse, I'd call the e vet.
