Not too cuddly with her little sister

Stinkeyes abound when Roo comes to pester!

 

Now this is a gift that's sure to please,

No stinkeye here when she sees these!

 

But first we need to know how big,

How long exactly is her leg?

 

Run a tape from pit to paw,

Then wrap it 'round her ankle.

 

I need to know how much to draw

How much will make her twinkle!

 

Now don't forget around her neck

Just how many inches?

 

Is it just as long as down her back?

Just be sure, NO PINCHES!

 

I know it's hard to resist those muscles,

but pinch and you might have to tussle!

 

How dainty are her measurements around her little tail?

We wouldn't want it to get cold, or it might be hard as nails!

 

So Aero, tell your Santa please, what color you'd adore!

Tell her true and you will find, you are cold no more!

Not to worry, evil elf, you're not the first nor last

to call me a female so pretty and sweet

Mom says I am still of the male gender

even though my coin purse is empty of tender

and I will curtsy for a treat

 

My leg is long, but not endless

it stops at twenty inches

 

From ear to ear,

my neck stretches for fifteen

 

Nape to tail covers a distance

that's twenty-nine between

 

Red brindling runs down my back

colors of red, orange, green or blue are a snap

to keep my handsome looks on track

 

Male I am, but big I'm not

Sixty-eight pounds I've thought

 

My tail will wag with gratitude

for my Secret Santa's attitude
