Exercise, Food And Bloat

I've read that greys should eat 1 hour before or 2 hours after vigorous exercise. But what kind of exercise counts as "vigorous"? I've been giving Zuki a slow 30-45 minute walk before his breakfast, and then 2-3 hours later he gets a brisk 30-minute walk that alternates between rapid walking and jogging or trotting. After the 2nd walk, he gets some small treats (bits of hot-dog or a little tuna/mackerel) to motivate him up our stairs and as something nice before I leave for work for the afternoon. Does that combination of exercise and food sound ok, or could bloat be a potential problem? TIA for any advice. :)
