The vet said that his anal sacs needed to be expressed and that his prostate was enlarged. He took some samples and sent us home on antibiotics, flagyl, cream for the spots and expressed that we add pumpkin, rice, and yogurt to his diet. Burpdog Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Where are you located? A couple of tablespoons of pumpkin should be fine. Rice -- I don't feed it anymore with diarreha. Probably 1/2c. Yogurt -- are you sure he can tolerate dairy products? If so, put in a couple of tablespoons. I prefer acidolphillus pills. What kibble are you feeding? Did you switch recently? Is he neutered?
