Guest rhonda88
Hi, My 6 month old Greyhound has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, which I have under control with BioCase Powder, but does anyone know what I can give her for the awful gas that she gets, she can clear a room it is so stinky. Thanks in advance Rhonda
Greytlady94
Is she on a special diet? If not you could try changing the protein source in the food. If on lamb try the same food but the chicken formula, etc. The gas eruptions from my puppers have always been made better by diet change. Since they have been on raw they rarely have any gas, but some kibbles used to cause paint peeling gas. Quote Greyhound angels at the bridge- Casey, Charlie, Maggie, Molly, Renie, Lucy & Teddy. Guest BooMooandDoo
Yucca (I recommend the Solid Gold Variety) and Optigest (In Clover) work wonders for gas. They are natural additives that you sprinkle on the food that aid in digestion. Good luck!
Guest rhonda88
She eats 2T of plain organic yogurt and 2 T of organic pumkin sometimes, it makes do difference on the gas, and mix all a cup and a half of castor and pollux dry puppy food 3 times a day Castor and Pollux Organic Dry puppy food But I tried giving her a crushed Trader Joes papaya and pineapple enzyme mixed with her food last night and no gas!!! I don't know if it was a coincidence will let you know.
