Guest ss556
I am taking Alan to the vet at noon for blood work as a month ago the lab didn't have enough blood to finish the complete thyroid panel (no charge), but I want him tested for TBDs and I had the papers from NC State and then there's ProtaTek. DO THEY DO THE SAME TESTS? What is the difference in who gets the testing? Does anyone know and can help me as it is about 2 hrs. before I have to leave for the vet and THEY have to know what to do. I don't want to take Alan twice. Thanks.
turbotaina
Do NC State. Their test is more reliable. Quote Meredith with Heyokha (HUS Me Teddy) and Crow (Mike Milbury). Burpdog
According to some. I know adoption agencies who use Protatek exclusively and I know Antech sends there babesia testing to Protatek. They are extremely knowledgable about greyhounds, the price is much less expensive and they are accessable for consults if needed. Test for all the erlichias, not just canis. Newgreymom
We did NC State Vector Lab and it is more complete...
Burpdog
Some do not understand you must ask for more testing from Protatek--many get the basic panel which includes VF, RMSF, Babsia, Lyme & Erlichia canis. You can get all the others (I think) that NC State uses. Protatek Quote Diane & The Senior Gang Burpdog Biscuits
