Guest greytlady Posted June 18, 2007 Share Posted June 18, 2007 I have a little brindle girl that has been diagnosed with phemphagus. She is on pred, doxy and fish oil caps. All her nails have shucked off and the new nails growing back are thick and twisted. Just wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with this. Kelong Posted June 18, 2007 Share Posted June 18, 2007 We have been dealing with it for two years now. Not fun, however under control... We do have flare ups. Jessie's nails grow back and look funky but not twisted.. Our poor girl she has this and corns.. We are down to Pred .5mg every third day. We do tertracyclene twice a day, Nicin twice a day, a pet tab, and fish oil. Feel free to email.. I know the begining is hard..
