Guest MCatsandAbby
Hey, y'all - I moved to TN in January, and this is my first experience in a part of the country where ticks are prevalent. Yuck. My animals are all protected, leaving me as the only non-Frontlined mammal in my house. How do you keep the nasty little things out of your house? More directly, how do you get rid of them altogether?
Burpdog
That was the only thing I didn't like about Nashville (otherwise, loved it there). I have been fighting ticks for a year and a half, in the city, in Houston. I've used, with some success (as long as I keep doing it) sevin granules. They also make pymertherin granules. Found them at WalMart. Nothing worse than laying in bed and feel a tick walking up your back...... Guest KnoxGreytMommy
"Nothing worse than laying in bed and feel a tick walking up your back......" No joke! Our schnauzer went for a walk in the country outside Knoxville, and, after a bath, deposited 6 ticks in our bed. At least it's easier to see ticks on the greys. Creepy little buggers.
