As an emergency vet tech, we had a little maltese come in one evening with chocolate poisoning. We treated him aggressively, but it already been a while since he ingested the chocolate and he had started seizuring. I sat with him for a while - every few minutes admistering iv meds to stop the seizures while the owner tried to decide what to do. It was so sad. He finally passed on his own. Chocolate is so yummy, but oh so dangerous for our pups. I will never be without HP in my house! ETA: Doh, I just realized the dates on this thread!!
