You were scrawny, worm-infested, and had little sores all over, probably from where you'd rubbed yourself in the kennel, and you had a bald butt. But little did I know how close we were to become. Within a few months your sores healed, your fur grew back, and you turned into a beautiful hound. We had 9 wonderful years together, but oh how I wish we could have had many more. Rafferty's last Gotcha Day You were and always will be, quite simply the best.
