  1. Diane, I am so very sorry. It's a great comfort to know that we who have lost our babies to cancer can make donations that might spare others this pain.

Our prayers and tears are with you.

Rest well and run free, Ivey. You've earned it. Now you know all the answers.

  2. After she took her last breath, I looked at her and was stunned.  She looked absolutely beautiful!  A confirmation that it was time.  I wish that fact made it easier.  Knowing that I will see her again makes it bearable.

Run like the wind sweet girl.

My Sissy looked the same way -- so peaceful and finally smiling again.

What a wonderful reunion we will have with our elegant ladies someday!

It is such a comfort to know that they are up there on our side.

  3. Under the domesticated surface they are all still pack animals...who knows why these things happen. It's in no way your fault.

It is so sad and we are so very, very sorry.

    May you find peace.

  4. No words can express what I would like to say to you. I know no words can possibly heal such a hurt as this -- I can only say that I am so very, very sorry. My tears are with you and your family.

  5. On the day DH picked up sweet Sissy's ashes, there was a huge double rainbow that appeared in front of him as he drove. That is very odd here, where it hardly ever rains!

We know she is indeed Home and watching over us always, as Booker is watching over you.

  6. I'm so sorry -- what an awful way to lose someone you love. Sending prayers for peace and comfort.

Run free DeeDee, and be sure to send your family many happy memories.

  7. What a little stinker she was! I love the mischief in her eyes. :)

I can't help but think she's keeping those soon-to-be-born little ones in line, causing trouble in Heaven as we speak, and making sure all the angels are laughing.

Godspeed, sweet old girl. Run free and happy, and I hope there is counter surfing in Heaven.

Sending prayers for peace and comfort in your time of loss.

  8. Oh, dear...I am so very sorry. Many tears here for Annie's poor family.

You put up a good fight, sweet angel. Cancer is a horrible enemy, and we are so sorry you couldn't beat it. Bless your heart for bearing your pain and waiting to see your mommy before you left. Please try to find my dear sweet Sissy, also a powerful angel due to her brave battle with cancer. Run free and be happy till we see you again, beautiful brave girls. I am so thankful you are whole and healthy again forever.

  9. Our 2 boys, age 2 .5 yrs. and 8 months, (adopted as pups) have beautiful teeth and no bad breath. Our off-the-track-retired-broodie foster (age 7) has dreadful teeth and gums and horrible breath. She just had a dental and we brush her teeth weekly. She is on Co-Q10 for the gingivitis, and vitamin C. Her breath is better than before the dental, but still stinky. How long until it improves? Should she be getting daily brushings? I hesitate to do this because the roots of some teeth are exposed at the gumline and I don't want to cause excesive wear on these enamel-less areas.
