Another vote for the stool guard. When my Deniro has booboos on his legs it is the only way they can heal as he is a compulsive licker. Good Luck!

I have 2 42 and 1 48 Vari-kennel crates. 1 42 is for visitors the other is for Deniro who would freak without his kennel. He is a den dog for sure even if I am home and the door is open he sleeps in it. The 48 is Bernard's since he is longer and taller than Deniro. They are only crated when I am not home. ETA: Deniro's is in the dining area, Bernard's is in my DS bedroom (small apt and they can see each other) the spare is right beside Deniro's basically but it is in the sunroom.

It could be of course. But my boy Bernie fell in two different races.. His very first which I was at and then another about 2 months later. He was not injured physically in either race. But mentally he was through with the first turn and was retired shortly there after.

Huston I cant wait to meet him next week. We will have a black and white Roman nose picture with Deniro and Huston for sure. Deniro gets some crusties (nothing major) sometimes too. I wonder if it could be the Romas nose.

My bridge girl could not go to a dog park since she was other dog aggressive. When I first adopted Deniro I took him to the new park here. Deniro has NO prey drive what so ever. He was fine at first until a very hyper standard schnauzer decided to hop around him and get in his face. Deniro tried to warn him a few times and when the owner of the schnauzer did nothing and the dog didnt quite understand the warnings, it was on. Deniro went after him to tell him quite effectively to BACK OFF. At that point I was not going to risk it and we left. Have only been back when it was empty on one side. I have taken the boys to play group at our kennel a couple of times. Greys only and all muzzled. Both boys loved it. But once a week we go to the kennel anyway and the boys can run alone in one of the pens (about 1/4 acre maybe larger). Other times I can take them to my mom's since she has a large flat fenced back yard. Both boys sniff, sniff, pee, sniff, sniff, poop, sniff, sniff, pee some more and sniff some more. Then Deniro will try his best to get Bernard to play. Eventually they will run all out. Then they are done.
