  1. Not a Greyhound, but the leader of the pack our yorkie, Mr. Magoo

Crossed the Bridge this morning at 14 years of age.

He was just a pup of 8 wks old when he came to live with us.

Seven years later when we brought our Max home, I'm sure

Mr. Magoo thought what was going on bringing this giant to live with

me. He instantly let Max know who was boss and what was allowed

here. Then several months later we brought our other angel "Gracie"

home. Again Mr.Magoo thought I have my work cut out for me.

And goodness a year later I failed fostering 101 and Dreamie came to

Live. This time Mr Magoo thought he lived in the land of the Giants.

After Gracie Crossed the Bridge we adopted Clara. Mr Magoo just looked

    at me.

I alway knew if someone was throwing up, tearing paper or playing with

a toy that did not belong to them. He watched Tom and I when we worked

out in the yard to make sure that we did things right. He will truly be missed.

I have talked to Max, Dreamie and Clara and told them that they have to

behave cause their tattle-tale is no long here.

We know that Mr.Magoo is running free and without pain now, and that

Gracie was there to meet him.

  2. My heart is breaking for you. I can feel your pain as we lost

our "Gracie" in Feb. I am sure she was there to greet "Miss Nellie"

along with all GT's other angels.

You are in our thoughts and prayers

    Run Free "Miss Nellie"

  3. We have VPI on all three Greys. I also have the cancer coverage. I like the feeling knowing that whatever the medical expense would be that most of it would be covered. With just going through a sickness with Gracie, 2 surgeries, many blood test, ultra sound, and two biopsy reports,a total of 27 days at the vets, then starting Chemo treatments. Yes, I am glad that I have it. VPI does take about 20 days to process the claim and there is a

50.00 deductable, but I found it was well worth it. It was nice not to have to worry where the money was coming.

  4. Gracie was our second greyhound. She was a bounce back and

did she ever bounce straight into our hearts. Although we only had

Max (our first) for 6 months and not really ready for a second the

minute we saw that beautiful face-she was ours. Gracie will be missed

by many. She made weekly visits to Summerville Asst. Living and

Misty Ridge Asst. Living as a Pets on Wheels voluneer. Smiles filled

the room when Grace walked in. Gracie also was a Meet & Greet

volunteer with MGA. When ever a dog was needed for a special event

    Grace received the invitation.

We were with her until the very end and in "Amazing Grace" style she

went in peace. She has left a huge hole in our hearts but will be there

    forever.

    Marge, Tom and

Max, Dreamie and Mr.Magoo (her Yorkie friend)
