  1. Godspeed, Zeus. And hugs to your humans. Send them a sign that you made it up there okay.
  2. Heather, I am so sorry to hear this! Run with the wind, Weenie!
  3. Jay, I am so sorry to hear this. Godspeed, Pretty!
  4. Heather and Ken, my heart goes out to you. Run free, sweet Casino!
  5. Oh, how we hoped you would still be with us for your first gotcha day, Coon-dog! We have the ice cream and your favorite biscuits too. But instead, you are at the bridge, with your precious Connie. Abbey has been asking where you are. We just tell her you are running with the angels now. I hope you have made it alright and are happy up there. We miss you so much here. I hope that I can go to the vet and bring you home today, a sort-of second homecoming. My heart has been shattered....I miss you, my sweet boy.
  6. We sent Cooney over the Rainbow Bridge tonight. Now he can be pain free and happy. Though he was with us for less than a year, he completely stole our hearts. We have never met a bigger, sweeter boy. Special thanks to the Greytalk folks who posted about him needing a home this time last year. Without Greytalk, we would not have had the opportunity to love this beautiful boy. He would have been with us a whole year this coming Friday. Lars Dbltakedean 11/1/93 - 1/23/07
  7. Oh, Diane Thinking of you... Godspeed, Rob Roy.
  8. So sorry to hear. Sending hugs.....
  9. We sent Beau to the Rainbow Bridge tonight. He was not recovering from his stroke well, and even turned down his last meal of Arby's Roast Beef sandwiches. January 1, 1993 - December 15, 2006 Our hearts are aching..... Say hi to Bruiser and Sandy for us, you big galoot!

    Tigger

Sorry to hear about Tigger. Beautiful pictures!
  11. Bruiser, we miss you sooooo much! You were our first and you taught us a lot. Like never leave Taco Bell food under the seat of the car "where you can't get it" while we run into the store for just a minute. Or that putting the loaf of bread on top of the fridge doesn't work if the tiniest piece of wrapper is showing, 'cuz you'd still get it. You let us know by going crazy in the car when we drove up to the open house at our first home that it was going to be ours. Didn't do that for the other 100's of houses we saw. And you sent us a sign from the bridge when we bought our new place last year. (the name "Bruiser" written in the basement). You are in our thoughts constantly, and are the heart of some classic family tales. We will never forget you, big guy! Know that we will always love you.
  12. Oh, Diane! Godspeed, Slick!
  13. Oh, Bec, I was hoping to see you both at the Gala so I could kiss his sweet nose! I know the past several weeks have been rough for both of you. It's a hard decision to make. Know that he is running free with all of our angels waiting at the bridge.
  14. So sorry to hear about Ebbie. You are in my thoughts.
  15. You're in my thoughts. Run free, Batman!
  16. We miss you so much, girlie! I miss how soft your fur was and how it would tickle my nose. I miss your little mowhawk. I miss the hoarse barks you used to make when you wanted attention, and the teeth chattering. How you used to trick Buddy into thinking you were going to play with him so he'd get off of the couch, and then you'd steal his spot. How you loved Arby's roast beef sandwiches so much you'd practically bite off our hand when we gave pieces of them to you. How you'd roach with NO modesty whatsoever. Your kisses. Your Elvis legs. How you were the boss over all of those d@mn boys! How you'd roll in the snow making snow angels, and shake all of the snow off of your body and prance into the house like doing something like that was beneath you - but the snow on the bridge of your nose was always evidence to the contrary. I met your former grandmom a couple of weeks ago. She lives 2 houses away! She saw us out walking and mentioned that her son had a greyhound and wondered whatever happened to it - how sweet the dog was. A couple of hours after that conversation, I realized what her last name was and put the pieces together. I haven't seen her since to tell her that her sweet granddog graced us with her charms for almost 7 years! I will though, and maybe she can share some stories with me about you in your younger years. You were one of a kind, and we think of you often. I love you, Prinney! Mumma
  17. Jodee, so sorry to hear about Greycie! You're in our thoughts.

    Hattie

Stacey So sorry to hear about Hattie. It's been a while since I've seen your posts on Greytalk - you were one of the "originals" - too bad that your post has to be such a sad one. Thinking of you.
  19. Diane, So sorry to hear of your loss! Thinking of you!
  20. Diane I am so sorry to hear about Heart. What a fine old lady! You gave her the best years she could have asked for. Now she's up there with Sandy bossing the boys around. You're in my thoughts.....
  21. Gunnar was such a sweet old boy! It's hard no matter how long it's been. He's up there running around with all of our bridge kids; waiting for you.
