  1. we went to the vet and he gave us an antibiotic cream and oral antibiotics and the bump has gone down and become less red, so think we are on the road to recovery. it also looks less like a blister or bump and more like a skin tear where the fur and skin is missing. thank God. Definitely next time i need to go to the pet er i will bring her orvis bed. I was frazzled that day between her and my son had broken his humerus and wasnt thinking straight
  2. hi all Noticed this red bump on my greyhound paw today. It must have came up quickly because have not noticed this before. a lady comes to my house to do her nails, so we would have noticed and she was just here a couple of weeks ago. Tried to go to the ER vet waited 1.5 hours and went home because my girl was exhausted (she will be 11 on May 31st and there was no place for her to lay down) My vet is booked until next week. So i went to a vet nearby, they gave her antibiotics and lotion to apply. Should I be worried that this is something worse, cancer wise? I lost my boy greyhound to osteosarcoma 2 years ago at the age of 11. She just went to the vet In December and had a great bloodwork but she did lose a pound which i thought was weird at the time as she eats the same as always. She does have SLO and used to lose her nails but that is in remission with vitamins
  3. Hi I need help! My greyhound belle is 8. She had some morning vomiting on empty stomach so I took her to the vet, they did an ultrasound, the barium test to see if she had an obstruction (she didnt) and bloodwork which dont show anything. I started feeding her right before bed and thought sverything was ok. About a month later she started vomiting between breakfast and lunch 2 days in a row and redness around both eyes like an allergy. Back to the vet and they said they cant find anything wrong. They gave her fluids put her on bland diet for a few days and said if she continues to go to a specialist Anyone ever have issues like this? We currently feed at 6, 2 and 10. She was on purina pro plan but the vet wants us to transition to digestive hills diet. No diarrhea no loss appetite poops are solid not mushy at all still wants to go on walks and play with her brother. Only difference is shes a clingy more, she will follow me room to room Thanks!! Dee
