OMG!! I can't believe you said that!!! This morning, me, Tim and Renee took a hot tub around 5 a.m., it was still dark out and we saw two shooting stars!!!! I haven't seen a shooting star since November 2001 (I remember the date because it was the night of my friends wedding). Maybe Fudge was sending me anniversary wishes!!! I'm so glad you said that about riding a star... Fudgie.... I miss him so much, sometimes saying his name out loud still makes my eyes burn with tears. Some very special friends on GT sent me an incredible Tami creation... the Fudgie Trellis. I have it in my livingroom for the winter.... I sit and stare at it often. I feel like he's part of that and it feels good to have it in the house. I've wondered a few times if I will actually part with it to put it outside... I've gotten a lot of comfort having it in the room I spent the most time in. Just a glance away from me. Fudgie was just too funny for words. So quirky My DH has said 100 times that Fudgie was so lucky he ended up in our house, because he couldn't imagine anyone else could handle him I created a thread all about Fudgie a few months back. I like to re-read it. He was really something I love him.

My friend Mary, who does the Italian Greyhound rescue in Massachusetts just lost her old man Sam today Sammy was 16 years old and couldn't have been more loved. Mary's heart is absolutely broken... she knew Sammy was old and the trip to the Bridge could happen at any point but her pain is so raw Please say a prayer for Sammy to have a safe trip to the Bridge and ask him to watch over his Momma.... she's suffering with his absence.
