    K-9 Voyager makes fantastic boots, they go over the knee. You will have to order on line. It may take some getting used to, but needed for these kinds of temps. Muk-Luks work also, but do not go as high on the leg, many pet stores carry them. Good luck. I'm in Wi. also, I feel your pain, I have 3 greys and putting 12 boots on 5 times a day is rough. So looking forward to the weekend so we can go for a real walk!

    I am very sorry for your loss of Remy. He was meant to be with you and you gave him a wonderful life that he deserved. Rest well handsome man.

    Galliprant

    I've used galliprant for Star for 6 months, no issues, but not much relief for LS and arthritis. I'm seeing better results with carprofen (50 mg. 2x) and gabapentin (300 mg. 2x). I have recently started acupuncture, cold laser and chiro in the hopes that I can take her off the carprofen. No GI issues and her mobility is improved.

    I am so very sorry for your loss of Raffle. You did the right thing, freeing her of her pain. Remember all the joy and happiness you gave each other and see her looking at you now with the same love she always had for you.

    It is never easy, making that decision. It will get easier, give yourself time and don't feel that you need to put away her things.

    Rest easy sweet girl.

    So very sorry Pam for your loss of Barkley. He looks like a happy little fellow, you gave him the best 7 years of his life. Rest in peace Barkley.

    Heart Murmur

    So, 2 of my hounds were diagnosed with heart murmurs. They did not need to be sedated for the procedure. They were pretty expensive and I was then told that their hearts still looked very good. It made me feel better having it done before a planned dental but I don't think it was really necessary.
