  1. We tried it on Elliott's corn and had to use a toddler sock after applying it because he would lick it off. Used it consistently a couple times a day for several weeks, but saw no change in the corn, although it did soften his paw pad, and it smells nice. It isn't thick or waxy like other balms we've tried - sinks right in. The jar is pretty small.

  2. Both of our greys have vivid dream phases in their sleep where they bark, whimper huff and puff and often move their legs like they are running and sometimes wag their tails. They both do it whether they are on their own bed or sleeping with us. It used to freak me out a bit, but now it kind of fascinates me. I wish I knew what they were dreaming about.

  3. I have not been on GT for a while and am just reading this. Cash was a lucky girl to have a family who tried so hard to understand and help her blossom despite her spookiness. I'm sorry she had to leave you.

  4. A small percentage of dogs just don't seem to tolerate it well. If it's a consistent response, then I recommend switching to a different product. I wouldn't suggest splitting the dose. We use a lot of Trifexis at a clinic, and I've only had a handful of clients report this type of consistent problem. We've never had a issue contacting Elanco, and I've found the company to be very responsive and quick to address problems.

Does it compromise the effectiveness if you split the tablet in two? To clarify, what I usually do is split the tablets and wrap them in something yummy and give as two bites at the same sitting. I find if I give it whole, they eat the good stuff and leave the tablet whole, and the size of the thing makes it too large to "pill" them.
