  1. I am so sorry.  Jax had such a wonderful life with you.  It is always hard when they leave us, but it is sudden it is even harder I think. My thoughts are with you.

  2. Have you tried craft fusion? That is what I use. It irons onto the fabric. It is sold with the other interfacings. I ordered a collar making kit years ago and that is what the instructions said to use.

Creative Designworks is where I buy my hardware. She is online. She is the person I bought my kit from several years ago.

  3. Thank you so much, Dick! I have been wanting to have his information updated but I just couldn't bring myself to do it until today. Yes, I would like to add two more pictures.

Again, thank you so much for doing this. It really means a lot to me.

  4. Dick, could you please update my boy's info? His name was Ucme Bubbasparks but we called him Joey. He died on 12/6/18. He was adopted by us: Jeff & Patty Erdman. If possible, I would love his photo to be added. Thank you so much!

  5. Thank you for all the kind words about my Joey. I wanted to share one more photo of him to show how much he loved the beach. People would laugh because he would just lay in the water and let the waves hit him. This picture shows his wild moves in the water. He was definitely a beach boy!

  6. Our boy left us yesterday and we are heartbroken. We didn't know that yesterday would be the day but he was much sicker than we knew.

Joey came to us in 2011 just weeks after Jack died unexpectedly. It was a rocky start with him because he had broken his hock while racing and it was not set correctly. He waited a year before he was put up for adoption. He had surgery just weeks after he arrived in our home. His leg was fused together and it never was quite right but he didn't let it bother him. He developed corns and wore a boot most of his life.

He traveled with us in our motorhome for five and a half years. Joey traveled across the country several times visiting nearly every state. He loved traveling and exploring new areas. A year ago, we settled down and bought a condo with a view of the beach. Joey walked the beach nearly every day and he loved playing in the water. We walked about two and a half miles every day, even the day before he died. He loved his walks and never liked turning around to head home.

Joey was an extremely popular guy in our condo building. He loved greeting everyone as they waited for the elevator. One of the owners kept treats in the breakroom and each day Joey would decide which drawer he wanted to be opened for the treat. One drawer had hard treats and the other soft. Joey usually alternated.

This picture of Joey was taken just a few days ago. He was being sassy and insisted that it was time for his beach walk.

This boy meant the world to me. He was the last of my greys. He was such a wonderful boy!
