Guest Houndmama
Living in western NC affords me access to incredible arts and crafts. I recently purchased a handwoven, chenille pet memorial comforter for my beloved kitty who lived with me for 18 1/2 years. I didn't get to have her cremated and keep her remains so I got one of these cloths imprinted with her photo and the years of her life to have framed in a shadow box. They are incredibly beautiful, soft and exquisitely woven and I am so happy with the finished product. I was amazed at the rush of emotion I felt the moment I saw it. One of my friends got the drape to use under her urn of ashes. It makes a beautiful alter. I have no affiliation with this weaver or her studio, but am a very pleased customer. She has recently completed her website and will be advertising in CG magazine. A full 25% of the net profits go to the animal rescue organization of your choice! If you are so inclined, check out the website at www.belovedpetcomforters.com.
