Cully Posted March 21, 2004 Share Posted March 21, 2004 A friend of mine had to help her beloved miniature poodle cross the bridge yesterday morning. June, David, and Dewey have battled Cushings for about 2 years. June did everything that could be done for Dewey and gave him a Greyt life. He had issues most of his life. He didn't get along well with many different dog or people, but if he loved you; he really Loved you. I would go to their house to dog sit for Dewey and his two Standard poodle sisters Ginny & Maggie. Dewey would follow me around everywhere, then at the end of the night when we would sit down to watch tv, Dewey would get in my arms and sleep like a baby. Dewey was an obedience champ. Thanks to June and all her work, she helped him over come his many problems. The world needs more people like June. We were talking about how much it hurt to let go, but she and I know that we will keep loving and getting more dogs. She and I both agree that life would not be worth living without a dog in it.
