I remember when we were first considering adopting a greyhound and the more we read and researched, the more we were convinced. Going to a meet and greet and meeting some hounds was the ultimate deciding factor and we sent our adoption application within a day. Best wishes to you on your journey! Guest joescho Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 There's a meet & greet on Feb. 7 from the local chapter at a local pet store. I have been in contact with the girl who is running it and said there will be a few dogs available for me to get up close and personal with. She said she will also spend as much time as needed answering my questions. I want to do this right and not make a quick rash decision. It will be best for me as well as the dog.
