Guest BrianRke
I bought a bag of these from the local raw food lady at the farmer's market. She also had dried chicken feet but I usually give them raw chicken feet. She said that the bones in DRIED chicken would not splinter the same way as cooked ones do. Is this true? If so I'll get them some dried feet next time I go.
OwnedBySummer
This seems to be controversial, as I've heard both yay and nay on this subject. I've been told by MY raw food lady who also does a lot of dehydrating of tendons, trachea, liver, lung, etc... that the dehydrated feet are dangerous. If I remember correctly, if there's an incorrect temperature or duration (which I feel is very easy to do), the feet can become dangerous. So when in doubt... I feed only raw feets. There's so many other "delicious" dehydrated products that there's no need for me to take the risk. Edited December 22, 2011 by OwnedBySummer Quote Lisa B.
