Wonder Posted November 17, 2011 Author Share Posted November 17, 2011 When I dropped Lucky off, the vet tech brought me into a room and went over a couple of things. Then she said the vet would come in to talk to me. I was shocked. This is a new vet for me but at other clinics the vet has never met with me before a dental. I've brought at least 30 fosters to vets and never once. He met with me and gave Lucky an exam. Poor Lucky was shaking so bad. The vet went over the dental with me. He explained what they would do and which drugs they would use. He said they will monitor his blood pressure and body temp the entire time. I was trying not to cry when I left but I felt so much better after talking with the vet. He told me to call with any questions and they will call me when he's awake. He said Lucky is his only client today ================ Update: I couldn't wait any longer so I called just to see if they were done with the dental. They put me on hold and the vet answered. Again shocked! He said he just got done and Lucky was starting to wake up. No teeth removed and they looked good once they were cleaned up He said he will call me in a few hours to let me know how he's doing. OMG-I love this vet. He totally knew how to deal with my anxiety.
